Filerimos - Kamiros - Valley of the Butterfly's(half day)
Departure From any area of Rhodes island The first stop is at the Byzantine church and the chapel of FILERIMOS , the " holy mother of God ". The view from FILERIMOS over the bay takes the breath away.
Our next stop is the KAMIROS. This antique city was discovered in 1930 and is approx. 35 km away from Rhodes city. It is a place for those, who have interest in historical ruins. At the end you become to know one of the special attractions of Rhodes, the BUTTERFLY VALLEY. It is situated in the midst of two green and wooded hills, separated by a small brook. Each year, from June till September thousands of butterflies of a certain type meet here.
Filerimos-Kamiros-Schmetterlingstal (halbtags) Zuerst machen wir an der byzantinischen Kirche und der Kapelle der "heiligen Mutter Gottes" von FILERIMOS halt. Die Sicht von FILERIMOS auf die Bucht nimmt ihnen den Atem. Nun geht es weiter nach KAMIROS. Diese antike Stadt wurde 1930 entdeckt und liegt ca. 35 km von Rhodos Stadt entfernt. Dies ist ein Ort für Menschen, die an historischen Ruinen Interesse haben. Zum Abschluss werden Sie eine der besonderen Attraktionen von Rhodos, das SCHMETTERLINGSTAL, kennenlernen. Es liegt inmitten zweier, grüner und bewaldeter Hügel, die durch einen kleinen Bach getrennt werden. Jedes Jahr von Juni bis September versammeln sich hier Tausende von Schmetterlingen einer bestimmten Art. Änderung der Reihenfolge der Besichtigungsorte vorbehalten.
