One of the most photographer beaches in Greece,it still retains something of the cosmopolitan character of the 1970's .It defies ones powers of imagination to conceive what this beach must have seen in all the years ,since described it as the finest beach in all the Mediterranean (by Lawrence Durrell) The multi colored umbrellas, the towering hotels ,the Casino and the Aquarium in the background ,once a favorite subject for photographers are now the theme of cult postcards .The best part of Rodos Beach is in front of the hotel Mediterranean. On the Aquarium side at the right is Elli Beach and you will find some beach bars and a RESTAURANTS. In front of Elli beach there is the Beach Volley.
The renovated interior of the historic HOTEL OF ROSES (located at Elli Beach) now houses the Casino of Rhodes in a Luxurious setting.
