Apollona Village

The village of Apollona Located 51 km from Rhodes town.At Appolona Village you must visit the Folklore museum which housed in the impressive setting of an old olive -press and is the most remarkable of the islands's folklore museums .

The exhibits include traditional women's custumems ,household utensils and the equipment used in producing the olive oil. the church next to the museum was built from the remains of the ancient temple of Apollo that existed in the area. There are a few Greek traditional tavernas that you can stop for a meal.
